Original. Insightful. Brave.
Wife and mother of two. After being severely injured during an emergency c-section during the birth of her second daughter, she was left unable to work in the mental health advocacy job she had. She is active in sharing health freedom information in her community and on social media.
Concerned about the discrimination that is widely accepted on news outlets and social media she wanted to do something to help her child feel less isolated and discriminated against. She had the idea of a children's book.
It was a process writing and illustrating her first book. As well as battling the fears of harassment once the book was released, she had to think of her families safety. After much contemplation she knew that she had to be brave and not let the fear of persecution stop her from publishing this important book.

I'm Not Sick
Reviews
It is a privilege to review Holly Miller’s book. From the beginning of the book,
the words “Grace would like a treat”, I was reminded of the innocence of a child’s request.
As a parent, we love our children and want to protect them.
Holly’s book “I’m Not Sick”, is both beautifully written and illustrated.
In her book, she describes how a child can explore, travel and play.
She includes narratives that describe why some parents chose not to vaccinate their children.
Also appreciated are pictures at the end of the book with space for writing and drawing.
As a whole, this book can help children and grown-ups
have a meaningful discussion on risks and benefits, and learn about informed consent.
Each child, each person is unique, with each their own set of genes,
characteristics, personalities and beliefs.
And I am glad Holly brings to the table this opportunity for discourse.

The author reinforces our stance through a whimsical, yet powerful mixture of poetry and prose. A timeless appeal that can reach any and all ages. The elegant watercolor used throughout the photography gives color to her words. She tells a compelling personal story that you can tell carries her unwavering passion as a loving parent.
You’ll appreciate the open-ended, illustrated pages towards the end because they hold space to share how you’ve come to make your own informed decision. I feel heard and the author did a prize job at showing many sides within one very big one. How we all come from different backgrounds. How changes of heart have happened - some of which unfortunately many have experienced vaccine related injuries and/or their children have been injured/died due to vaccines.
You just can’t even wrap your head around the situations of others, usually until it’s too late and you’ve gone through it yourself or someone you’re close to. The beauty of this book is not only the insightful information, but the inclusion of this shared belief as well.
